    Lest We Forget

The phrase 'Lest We Forget' is well known in many English speaking countries as a way of remembering those who have fought and died for freedom.
It was derived from a Christian poem written by Rudyard Kipling in 1897, and it is commonly used at remembrance services and commemorative occasions.
More information about the 'Lest We Forget' ANZAC poem can be found here.
